Hotel Secesja has made it's home in a rather dreamy part of town where life seems to move at an altogether different pace. Views over the legendary churches of St Catherine's and St Michael's will not disappoint, and it's a delightful walk along the river to the castle. 'Secesja' was the Polish incarnation of Art Nouveau, and Cracow was indeed Poland's capital of that movement. You'll find plenty of fin-de-siecle flourishes in the decor of this hotel, which all in all is a very reasonable mid-range choice. Look out for concerts of classical music at St Catherine's, which has the best acoustics of all the churches in Cracow. For best price deals on the Secesja...
