Maltanski Krakow

This little secret of a hotel located just off the Planty is an absolute gem. Small is beautiful at the Maltanski, and you won't feel like just another face in the crowd. However, the bedrooms themselves are far from cramped, whilst the prices of your stay are much less terrifying than in your standard Old Town haunt. This delightful nineteenth century building was brought back to life by a famous Polish aristocratic family, and the rooms have been elegantly furnished in a smart but unshowy style. Highly recommended for a mid-range choice.

Very nice hotel, great service, only issue is that the ceilings are very high and sound travels so heard a lot going on in the room next door which I would have preferred not to have heard.

The hotel is very nice, the staff excellent and friendly, the atmosphere pleasant, the location near the planty great. The room was comfortable (even if not quite as sparkling as in the pictures); I had a double for single use, as I was staying an entire week for the purpose of archival research at the Jaghiellonian Library and had to work in the room in the evening. The large and comfortable bathroom is another plus. The best thing, however, was the breakfast, a large selection of delicious offerings, served beautifully on white linen table cloths, each cup of coffee is individually brewed and served. The only negative aspect is the noise - in itself not so great. But if your room is toward the front, the noise is very close. So, in the summer, when the windows are open, it is a problem.

Hotel Maltanski was well situated close to the Radisson SAS Hotel, but is 100% more charming!! The rooms, the staff and the short walking distance to all attractions was just great!!

the room is very nice, clean and have every thing you need. free internet and laptop from the hotel. cold drinks and most important in the morning breakfast in bed, like you want at home.
