Copernicus Krakow

It's no mean feat to bag a room at the Copernicus these days, small wonder then that the owners are about to add a fourth hotel to their Krakow crown. Of course, the success of the enterprise is not difficult to fathom. There's the gloriously romantic location at the foot of the Royal Castle, the elegant design, the gracious service and the host of delightful details that can hardly fail to charm. This lovely street once housed Krakow's wealthiest bishops, and when the conservators were restoring the Copernicus mansion, they discovered all kinds of treasures hidden beneath the plaster-work. Whether it's the Renaissance ceiling in the dining room or the fantastical frescoes in the suites, here you'll find an unforgettable taste of Krakow. Outstanding.

Beautiful blend of old with new. Very unique hotel. Our room was very large with an over the roof top view. However, I felt that the furnishings were very spartan in comparison with the opulence of the rest of the hotel.

Quite the most beautiful hotel I have stayed in in Poland. Elegant, quiet and wonderful staff.
