Amber Krakow

Amber was highly prized by Polish monarchs and nobles alike - King Sigismund Vasa liked nothing more than to carve himself amber treasures after a long day annoying the nobility. However, this amber venture is a treasure of an altogether different kind. Having opened for the Summer of 2006, Hotel Amber immediately took its place as a gem of the mid-range realm. It's a bright and airy place that's sure to make for a soothing home from home. The clean modern design offers a refreshing alternative to the fusty, 80's era options. Location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from Krakow's Market Square. At the church on the corner, you'll find an enchanted stone that was imprinted by the sainted Queen Jadwiga
