Amadeus Krakow

One of the most popular luxury hotels in the Old Town, Amadeus comes with a creamy colour scheme and a dash of baroque that Wolfgang himself would be sure to enjoy. The hotel has made its home on a lovely little corner of the Old Town in Krakow. It's a rather quiet spot that's away from the hubbub. Nevertheless, you're still within easy striking distance of all the city's main attractions. Amadeus has 40 rooms in singles and doubles, as well as two suites for that extra dash of luxury. Previous guests have included Prince Charles, whilst Amadeus is also popular with businessmen.

Excellent hotel and restaurant. Staff was exceptional. They were personable and helped us take advantage of getting around Krakow as well as getting us transportation to Budapest. The staff should be commended for the service and hospitality they provided. I hope there is some way our comments can be conveyed to them.

The room was smaller than we had expected and it would have been good to have easy chairs. Also there was not the supply of bottled water which we read is normal in Polish hotels. However the staff were splendid and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
