The Other Side of the Rainbow

The Polish movie industry is not known for being particularly open about the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender scenes - so this short season is a rare opportunity indeed in Krakow. The line-up will include Shortbus, House of Boys, and Weekend, and gives audiences of all sexual orientations a chance to explore this genre. Cultural tension and freedom are strong themes throughout the programme, but the movies are as much about social homogeneity as they are about homosexuality. Some screenings include sexually explicit scenes. Tickets 10zł.
