Utagawa Kuniyoshi – Legend and Fantasy
1/1/2012 - 19/2/2012
This exhibition has proved so popular that it is now to be extended to allow more visitors to view the works well into February. It was originally mounted to mark the 150th anniversary of Kuniyoshi’s death, and includes 260 woodcuts and albums. Themes are drawn from Japanese history, legend and nature, and blended in a fashion that borders on the edge of reality. Presented under the honorary patronage of the Embassy of Japan in Poland.
