Last autumn, artists in Krakow rose to the challenge of creating new visual representations of some of the city’s best-loved legends. The resulting exhibition featured 61 of the finest entries – out of just over 300 in all – and has proved so popular that it has now been extended until the end of the month. Expect to come face to face with the Wawel dragon, and with alchemist and king Sigismund III among others in this splendid display of mythological knowledge and artistic talent.
