Paintings from Krakow's Sukiennice collection are now on display as part of a major new exhibition at the Royal Castle in nearby Niepolomice. In a major overhaul of the Sukiennice's previous show at the castle, the new exhibition features work from various genres, with an emphasis very much on the changing views of art, and the increasing attempts to categorise paintings ranging from 'intellectual-aestheticism' to 'simple pleasures'. Pictured below is Henryk Rauchinger's Penal Colony.
