Chlopskie Jadlo email

Chlopskie Jadlo (Peasant kitchen) is one of the most well-known destinations in Cracow, popular with visitors and locals alike. The food is well-cooked, simple and delicious, and the portions suitably hearty to match the authentic peasant decor. This branch of the Chlopskie Jadlo group is ideally located near to Wawel Castle, and is a great place to stop off if you've walked from the town centre. A must visit, but you should reserve one of their long bench tables or cosy sleighs in advance if you plan to eat at the weekend.

I have eaten here on two separate trips to Krakow and it has been wonderful each time. My cousin who is from another town in Poland said it is one of her favorite restaurants. Everyone in our group had a wonderful entree. Their mushroom golabki's are superb.

Is OK, however a bit expensive….dinner for 6 costs more than $200…food is too fat…. after the meal you may be perfect candidate for a heart attack….

This place is fantastic, I'll certainly be back next time I visit Krakow. We found it completely be accident, when searching for another restaurant. Only just managed to get a table, thanks to our sweet talking taxi driver. After a few vodkas you must try the special, which is a huge platter of meat (can't remember what it's called, sorry!!), it's enough to satisfy anyones hunger.
