Kolanko No.6 is one of those Cracow specialities - a place that is almost impossible to define - is it a cafe? a pub? a place for light meals? All the rule books are thrown out of the window in this cosy and cheerful den, where you can enjoy a beer one minute, and order delicious nalesniki (Polish pancakes, or crepes) the next - their speciality. Hungry guests can kick off with a tasty soup such as onion or broccoli and garlic, and then there's a royal range of delicious pancakes to choose from, with everything from Mexican to chocolate options. Tea lovers won't be disappointed either if you need a cuppa to ward off the cold. Meanwhile, you'll find plenty of good chill-out music drifting from the speakers, with blues, jazz and ethnic beats in abundance, and if you really want, you can enjoy it all while sitting in an old dentist's chair - pure Kazimierz.
