Gosciniec Pod Zamkiem

This is a reasonably-priced option on the way to Kazimierz. You'll find it on the grand avenue that links Wawel Castle with the Ancient Jewish district. It's been done up in a faintly folksy, hearty style, with Highland style chairs from the South. Their express lunch for 12 zloty is a bargain, and might make a for a fine pitsop after having explored Wawel Hill. It's classic Polish fare, with plenty of meaty options to ward off the cold. A smattering of international dishes too. ** There are now guestrooms above that can accommodate 10 people!** |
