Rozowy Slon email

If you've had enough of drab, gloomy cafeterias then this cut-price student favourite could be just the ticket for a dreary November Day. Rozowy Slon (The Pink Elephant) serves a range of tasty Polish classics in a poptastic interior - it's a bit like sitting in a giant comic book. Order up a pancake or a zurek soup and settle down at a pink chair and table. Fast, fun and fine prices.

I used to attend a private school in Cracow and we used to order lunches from this place everyday, hand on heart I can tell you that nobody ever got food poisoning from this place, the meals were hot and delicious. Well worth trusting.

An amazing place! Superb value for money. Delicious meals, I would highly recommend the pancakes and the soup on a cold day goes down a treat too. Really friendly locals and warm atmosphere. Wonderful for if you're into art and if you're looking for somewhere that's a bit different.

Another of my favourite lunchspots. Like stepping into a comic book. Popular with students. The girl at the till is prone to hollering out each order like a schoolteacher. Good value!

This ia a great and cheap place to eat while travelling. IF youve never have traditional polish food this a really a great place to try it. And natives eat there all the time too so its not just a "touristy" place. I was there in 2002.
