Restaurant Panorama Klub

|
This newly refurbished restaurant offers a distinctly contemporary atmosphere (which is something of a rarity in these parts). With its low-slung seats and zen minimalist style, it wouldn't feel out of place in Tokyo. You'll find the restaurant at the top of the gargantuan Jubilat building, just a couple of minutes walk from the Old Town. Once there you'll see why the place is called 'Panorama' - it has one of the best views in the city. Sit back and savour classic Polish dishes whilst marveling at Wawel Castle and the sweeping prospect of the hills beyond. |

The organisers of this year's Krakow Film Festival have already received more than 2,000 submissions from directors keen to make their name ...

Don't be put off by the ugly Jubilat building and the forbidding lift - the view form the top is absolutely terrific, and the food is remarkably good. Especially recommend the 'placki' (potato pancakes) with goulash sauce, and herring to start with. Top it off with a cold beer and you're set! Completely different from the old town restaurants, but still well worth a visit.
