An unassuming corner of Plac Nowy conceals one of the most talked about bars of late. Manhattan comes to Kazimierz...? It sounds odd, and in fact it is rather odd, but this distinctive hangout has count on a loyal following. What's more, not content with just rustling up fantastic cocktails, they've created a range of light bites for the peckish. "You can get more than just light bites at Zblizenia - we went there for dinner, and they have a full menu, though it's limited to salad and pasta choices, with a whole range of starters and snacks. Some of the pastas were really excellent, though my salmon pasta had maybe two tiny pieces of salmon in it... Great choice of cocktails and wines, somewhat more limited choice of beer."
