Redolfi

Redolfi first opened as a very fancy cake shop way back in 1823. It still has a fairly classic air about it, with elegant wooden furnishings and light jazz emanating from the speakers. Of the restaurants on the Market Square, it's one of your better bets, with a good array of salads and intriguing starters such as salmon with lime sauce and honey. Pork escalops with juniper sauce and a variety of veal dishes are amongst their well-delivered mains. With a view out across the old market square you're unlikely to feel cheated. Friendly service.

"Me and my partner were in Krakow in September and we ate here 3 times, twice at night and once for breakfast! It was fantastic! The service was superb, the food was amazing, and it was so so cheap! The little table in the window is lovely, just make sure u reserve it in advance as its the most popular table and is normally reserved for the locals so make sure u get in first!"

"This place is Quality!!!!, if you go there after OD-ing on too many Mad Dogs, make sure you get OLGA or the other blond waitress to serve you, Damm Damm Damm she will wake you up in no time, even though your MIND may be saying No, But Your BODY, Your BODY will be saying YEAH!!!! The breakfast is great, just Lap it Up, Lap it Up. "

"Excellent Tarte Tatin with caramel, meat & cheese breakfast platter & the best Caesar salad in Cracow. A visit to Cracow must include Earl Grey & apple szarlotka or Caesar whilst sitting in the window looking at people! Great staff."

"Well, perhaps I was unlucky. My cappucino was tasteless and my chocolate cake, served on a plate still warm from the microwave, was only just thawed. The bill, however, was impressively large."

"Fantastic position on the old square. We stopped here a couple of times for a coffee and had dinner one night. Food was excellent and service was friendly but not rushed. Desserts were to die for and the pear pancakes is recommended! All in all excellent and good value too! "
