Restaurant Avanti

|
Karmelicka was amongst the grandest streets in Cracow a hundred years ago and its renaissance is now well underway. Smart shops and restaurants are popping up left right and centre. Avanti's cellar is certainly one of your best bets in this part of town, and whilst the cellar may be a typical Cracovian experience, you'll instantly feel the authentic Italian touch here. The smoked salmon pasta is delicious and there's a good assortment of wines to add to the general merriment. All pasta is home-made and there's a fine selection of fresh fish and of course well-prepared meats. A professional place. |

Avanti has a lovely feel to it but we felt it was quite expensive compared to other places. Paying individually for bread and butter and even parmesan was a bit much. Steak was incredible though and the grilled veg were perfect.
