Copernicus Restaurant

This is unquestionably one of the most elegant places to eat in Cracow, with charming frescoes on the walls and a lovely Renaissance ceiling. In different hands, some of the dishes on the menu might end up being rather heavy. But here they are delivered with a lightness of touch, offering pleasing reinterpretations of classic Polish dishes. There's a fine wine list too - the owners have something of a soft spot for Italy, and they've gone to great lengths to track down a good selection. In summer you can kick things off with a drink on the rooftop terrace - the view overlooks Wawel Castle and is one of the best in the city. All in all, an absolute pleasure! |
