Slodki Wentzl

If you walk into a place and everyone seems to be smiling and enjoying themselves (and not just because you're wearing a silly hat), there's got to be something right. Slodki Wentzl (Sweet Wentzl) is a smart new cafe on the market square from the owners of the Wentzl restaurant and hotel above. It has quickly become a popular choice, proving that the Cracovian Cafe doesn't have to be choc-full of antiques and brimming with sweet melancholia to pull the punters in. With one of the best restaurants in Cracow upstairs, commitment to excellence is clearly high on the agenda. A sleek, light and airy decor and an enticing array of coffees and cakes are making lots of people happy at Wentzl. The ice-creams will be a further winning factor when Summer arrives.

Nonononono.. avoid at all costs. Went there once and got food poisoning. Thought I'd give them a second chance. Went there twice got off cream on ice cream and hot chocolate. When I complained the waitress was what can only be described as bitchy. This pace used to be good until it turned touristy and then the quality went through the floor.

Great place on the Rynek in Krakow to get some great deserts! The ice-cream menu is unbelievable! Excellent service too as it's owned by the guys from Hotel and Restaurant Wentzl!

Lovely stylish ambiance and friendly staff. The dessert menu is huge and features a number of elaborate sundaes that look like edible works of art. As it was minus 4 outside, I opted for the crepe suzette which was gorgeous and featured a slightly bitter orange sauce and subtlety flavoured sorbet. My husband had tiramisu, also amazing. The capuccinos were not the best but the desserts more than made up for it. Interesting cocktail menu.

Najlepsze desery na swiecie, najlepsze lody, lokal swietny, atmosfera rowniez, jeszcze nigdzie nie znalazlam taka kawiarnie, teksnie za moja poranna kawe w slodkim Wentzlu, polecam wszystkim!!!!!!!! A torty....nie mam slow zeby je opisac. Pozdrowienia z za oceanem.

An ice cream lovers heaven!!! I couldn't keep my girlfriend away from here!!! Superb value for money and amazing presentation.

Come by on a warm saturday or sunday afternoon and be prepared to wait in line for a place to sit outside. There is a reason why most of the visitors are locals - this is the Rynek's best desert spot.

The best chocolate cake in town - wash it down with hot chocolate for the ultimate sugar hit! Good place to duck in to if you are visiting the Christmas market, and the prices are very resonable too.
