If you go for a dawn walk along the riverbank, you may well believe that you are seeing a mirage. For moored underneath the castle is a rather fantastical wooden scow - the kind of boat that great Viking chiefs were laid to rest on in those classic films from the 1950's. But this is not an illusion, it is in fact a rather wonderful place to eat, drink and be merry, and from April to October you can watch the sun go down whilst enjoying specialities such as soupe de poisson and other tasty morsels from the sea. You're in safe hands here as Galar is owned by the excellent team who manage Camelot, Cherubino and of course Pod Aniolami so it should make for a great evening. **Closed 'til Spring!**
