La Strada

La Strada is a splendid place to stop off for lunch when you're down near Wawel, and offers really good food at prices far more reasonable than those you'll find nearer the Rynek. All the food is flavourful and provided in healthy proportions, with the freshly-backed focaccia bread a particular treat. A nice summer garden rounds it all off. Open daily from 11am until 10pm, La Strada stays open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

"One of the BEST RESTAURANT in Krakow. I used to have breakfast every other morning here. Perfect service, food is marvelous and the setting of the place is very different from the traditional look of any other restaurant in krakow. This is a must go place. Price wise it might be a bit pricey but it's worthy. "

"We found this on the way down to the Kazimierz Jewish district. A total surprize! A great garden out at the back and delicious pizzas. Never had smoked salmon and mayonaisse pizza before but absolutely delicious! "

"Si vous cherchez un italien qui offre une nourriture variée dans un cadre calme et a un prix resonnable. Je vous conseille le jardin en arriere-cours totallement paisible. c'est un excellent endroit pour un dejeuner de conversation en amis. Le service est impecable et le vin rouge premier prix est surprenant."
