Bar Vega

Open since 1995, Bar Vega on Gertrudy Street is one of few vegetarian restaurants in Cracow. Popular with locals and those just passing by, partly for the great window looking onto Krakow's Planty, Bar Vega is popular with actors, artists, students and local gourmets, as well as visitors. Expect a great variety of salads, deserts, natural juices in a unique atmosphere with quiet music. A great, relaxed place that will make you really feel at home. Open daily from 9 am until 9 p.m.

"Went in January and going again in a couple of weeks. The choice of food is excellent and it all tastes good. Great to find such good vegetarian choice in what I thought would be a big meat eating nation. Needless to say in a couple of weeks I'm going to be stuffing my face!"
