Alrina Restaurant website

In 1889 Gerardus Petrus van der Wielen placed an order with a Dutch shipyard, for a twin-masted barge 54-metres long. The ship carried goods around Europe for many decades - and was so well-known that it even appeared on a series of Dutch stamps. Now it is docked alongside the Wisla river in Krakow, where is serves as the base for a restaurant unlike any other in the city. The Alrina is still one of the largest ships of its kind in Europe. It offers a unique dining experience in that the traditional and the modern are mixed expertly - with fine Mediterranean dishes served alongside classic old world wines, creating a fusion of seductive and sensual flavours. This carefully balanced blend makes the Alrina a welcoming spot for all, whether you are seeking a venue for a family dinner, a get together with friends, a business lunch, or a cosy and desperately romantic spot to share time with a loved one.
