Buddha Indian Restaurant & Lounge

The intoxicating and seductive flavours of India are still are relatively newcomer to the dining scene in Poland - even in a city such as Krakow where almost every nationality is represented, somehow, somewhere. So it is a delight to discover a restaurant that takes care to present the huge variety of taste sensations from the Sub-Continent, not just with blending expertise but with the same elegance, style, attention to deal and customer service that are the hallmarks of any great restaurant. Yet it is the subtle approach to creativity that really makes Buddha stand out. Each recipe is carefully studied, then recreated, often with a unique and subtle twist that retains all of the best of the original but adds a little something unexpected. Not the first in the city, but perhaps destined to become one of the most legendary.

After reading all your positive reviews my wife and I went to visit your restaurant on feb 29th 2012 at 7.00pm only to find you closed. How disappointing.

i was at this place late night and the food was yumm, we and friends ordered tandoori lobster and garlic naan, the portions were huge and we just could not finish it, we also tried chicken kashmiri and chicken tikka jodhpuri... it was just above the mark too excellent food, we had variety of cocktails and mock tails and ended up paying a huge bill, but it was worth all till the last penny, i would suggest this place blind folded, for our group a 7 star rating.

We visited the budda Indian and it started off really good the starters was nice but the main meal came and it was awful, I ordered a chicken rogan josh my hubby ordered a vindaloo r friends ordered madras when it came it was nothing like, I got lamb, and it was rank, all the food was just salty we was really disappointed and didn't want to make a fuss because they had let us in when they was nearly closing so we was grateful of that, maybe it was the reason for the food being poor but I would not recommend this if you know your Indians then don't bother.

The finest Indian food in Krakow, When ever group preforms in Krakow we are at Buddha, this is something like GOD'S OWN FOOD, excellent service, i would suggest all Englishmen this Restaurant, it is right in center of main square and in heart of krakow,

I would not call it an Indian restaurant,They did various dishes from Chinese,Indian and Thai which was a very pleasant surprise.Had no issue's with the place at all.Great food with friendly helpful staff.Curries would give anything in UK a run for its money.Great prices and value for money.If you like it Hot,Then they are more than happy to accommodate curry heads.

Excellent restaurant. Very hospitable. Beautiful and soft spoken waitresses. Fantastic food. Authentic north Indian food. Loved it. Been there 5 times already in a space of 2 months.
