Manzana email

Manzana website

Occupying a sleek space down in Kazimierz - Cracow's hippest district - Manzana has made a reputation as a cut above many Mexican pretenders. Head over for tacos, burritos, fajitas and enchiladas galore, washed down by well-chosen wines from Latin America and elsewhere. Besides the classic Mexican dishes, you'll also be able to choose from a range of ravishing burgers, including a spicy jalapeno number, as well as less fiery concoctions for the traditional-minded. With an urbane bar on hand, why not kick off the evening with a cocktail or two, as who could resist such mischievous Mexican hits as Cactus Jack and Bloody Juanita?

Manzana

While I agree the service is always very good, the food was so-so when I visited last week. For sure the best attempt at Mexican food in Krakow at least....

This is the 4th time I've been to manzana now, and I'm never dissappointed. The service is excellent, the food is superb, which actually is rare for a mexican restaurant, and drinks are to die for.
While the restaurant is awesome, the bar is equally impressing. We challenged the bartender several times with specific drinks, and he showed off unlike any bartender we've seen for quite a while during travelling. They were amazing and we love this place. We live in Cracow, and this is a favourite!

My husband invited me for my Birthday dinner there and it truly couldn't be a better setting for a romantic meal. First, the ambience of the place is superb, very intimate with candles on the tables. I've noticed that our table was beautifully prepared, with a white table cloth and extra decorations. It felt totally special. So, 10 out of 10 for a decor. Then the food - the best Mexican I've had in a long time. For a starter I've had delicious sweetcorn soup - creamy, warm and nourishing, then the goats cheese enchilada- made almost to order. My husband went for meet options - both on starter and main course and was equally happy with his meal. I tried Manzana's speciality coffee - which was outstanding, very sweet with extra kick of alcohol. Manazana is one of the very few places that offer fantastic selection of non-alcoholic coctails. Finally, the service - just as in Metropolitan, Manzana's sister restaurant- was next to none. There were two managers there and both checked on us regularly, without being too overpowering. Also the waiting staff was kind, tactful and very smiley. From my experience of Krakow's restaurants the customer service - both in Manzana and Metropolitan is the best in town.
It probably couldn't sound more cheesy, but if you add a breathtaking bunch of flowers and a great present from my husband, this was the best birthday yet. Thank you to my wonderful man & Manzana staff for making this evening very very special!

Lovely Mexcian restaurant in the Kazimiers area of Krakow Centrally located and easy to find; there are a cluster of good bars/pubs around the corner if you fancy a pre or post dinner drink. Décor of the restaurant is very welcoming and smart- loved it. Food is tasty and incredibly good value. To start my husband and I had the medium sized nachos to share and the portion was HUGE. Absolutely delicious. Main courses were well presented and tasty, we struggled to clear our plates after the fantastic starter! The restaurant has a bar area which, again, is very modern and welcoming. We went back there for drinks only a few times. The cocktail list is long, and the prices very reasonable. (note, the cocktails/vodka/beer is well priced, but the wine was overpriced).

All in all I would definitely recommend this restaurant of your staying in Krakow. There is another Mexican just off the main square (called The Mexican I think) but the menu wasn’t as large and the décor not as welcoming.

Good place, with amazing decor and unusual location in Kazimierz. Staff is very kind, attentive and helpful. In my opinion this is the best Mexican in Krakow at the moment.

Probably the best kept restaurant secret in Krakow.
Delicious Mexican standards and some pleasant surprises at very reasonable prices.
A place to visit whether you are just wanting a drink or a super meal.
