Pimiento - Old Town

|
As old Cracow hands will know, tracking down a top-quality steak in this town can be like looking for a needle in the proverbial haystack. For this reason, the team down at Kazimierz's Pimiento notched up a runaway hit with their Argentinean steakhouse. So much so that now they've gone and opened up a sister restaurant right in the middle of the Old Town. With over twenty tantalising options to pick from, ranging from T-bone Angus to Rib-eye "La Marocha", there's plenty to tickle the fancy of committed carnivores. Add to this some rich red wines - again from Argentina - and you're on to an all round winner. |

The organisers of this year's Krakow Film Festival have already received more than 2,000 submissions from directors keen to make their name ...

Very good steaks indeed, and nice selections of wine. Cooked well but not quite as rare as I ordered - this is a bit of a common problem in Poland. If you like it medium rare, ask for it REALLY rare! Almost always it will be cooked more than you actually want.
