Casanova Restaurant email

Giacomo Casanova spent a colourful time in Poland, hobnobbing with the king, chasing ladies, and even getting into a duel. Bearing this in mind, he'd be pleased to discover that this restaurant has made its home in one of the most splendid palaces on the market square. Like Casanova himself, the owners are from Venice, and there are some delightful Venetian touches in the decor, conjuring up the spirit of the carnival. Above all, the food is first class, making this an all round welcome addition to Cracow's culinary scene.

My wife and I recently spent 5 days in Krakow and this was the best dinner by far. We went to the restaurant on the recommendation of our guidebook and it was excellent. It was my birthday, and I couldn't of had a better birthday dinner. The waitstaff was excellent and the food was well presented and tasty. They even brought me dessert with happy birthday written in grappa sauce on the plate and a candle. A nice little touch. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Krakow.

Just back from bringing a group to Krakow. 12 of us ate in Casanova and had a fantastic expereince. The staff were exceptional; friendly and efficient. The food was fantastic. It cost about 30 Euro per person for a 4 course meal. (Drinks not incl in that price but plenty consumed). I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Just back from a "foodie" week in Krakov and have to say Casanova was the best food we tasted all week. The food, ambiance and service was superb, which is even better in a city not known for its cuisine.
The dishes was simple but elegant, based on the homemade pasta, but with their own spin. The dish I enjoyed the most was a good example of this - homemade ravioli with mushrooms in a black truffle sauce and Italian sausage. Delicious!
