The full title of this splendid cafe, written across the front entrance, means "the first place on Stolarska Street on the left hand side coming from the Small Square..." It's an offbeat name for a charming, cosy cafe that lies at the heart of a city at the heart of Europe! Its sandwiches, made with passion for the last five years, are recommended by Polsh Kitchen Guru, Robert Maklowicz. But only the early bird gets the worm - sandwiches are served until noon. Pierwszy Lokal... opens its doors at 6.30 in the morning. Light jazz music, and exhibitions of photography add to the atmosphere. Smooth.
