Scandale Royal

Scandale Royal is the Old Town answer to of Kazimierz's Le Scandale. Whereas the ground floor resembles a more decadent version of the original Kazimierz branch, there’s also a smart upstairs overlooking Plac Szczepanski and a basement level where live bands play nightly from 10:30 pm. In addition to being a chic nightclub, Scandale Royal has recently added a full range of fusion dishes to their menu, making it a popular dining choice as well. "I'd heard the food was supposed to be excellent as there's a new chef, Fabrice, but when my friend and I dined there it was barely mediocre. I had the lamb medallions, which were mealy and flavorless, and the snails, which were rubbery and served in a pastry that had the texture of leather. The sauces were ordinary. My friend's fare wasn't much better. "
