Cracow has its fair share of pizza restaurants, and this is one of the best. The medieval cellar provides a suitably rustic setting for the open-fired oven, and the proprietors have gone to some trouble with the decor to make it welcoming. In addition to the huge choice of pizzas, there's a good selection of other Italian favourites, as well as grilled fish and meat dishes. Prices are fair, and all round a meal here won't burn too big a hole in the pocket. Vesuvio looks a good place to take large groups, and they welcome enquiries about providing outside catering. |

We went here in October last year on our 1st of 4 nights. Firstly great value, secondly lovely surroundings and finally the set menu consisting of a soup and main course, fantastic. Staff are also very friendly
