Mauretania Restaurant

When Spring gets underway there are few finer walks in town than a saunter along the riverbank. Head south from the castle and follow the bend all the way round past the Pilsudski Bridge and you'll soon spy the Mauretania. (Alternatively, just drop by after having checked out the Kazimierz district). This is a great spot to get away from the crowds of the Old Town, and besides being able to enjoy a deckside drink with a fantastic view, Mauretania has some gastronomical goodies too. The chef serves up a tasty assortment of Italian classics, from summer salads to pastas and fish. Crack open a bottle of wine and soak up the sensational panorama.
