Starka Restaurant is well-known in Krakow not just for their quality Polish fare, but also for their own brand of vodkas which are made right here in the city. In fact, the restaurant is divided between a cocktail bar in the front (with free WiFi), and a small but homey restaurant in the back. The menu includes classics like roast pork shank with braised sauerkraut, and several fish dishes, as well as a superb duck breast. Traditional Krakow cheesecake and Polish apple pie ('szarlotka') are available for dessert.
