Albo Tak

Negotiate your way past the bookshelves on the ground floor, and make your way up the stairs to a quirky and fun cafe/pub on the first floor. In true Cracow style it poses as a cafe-and-cake corner during the day, with plenty of literary student types pretending to read between shots of espresso, whilst after dark tranforms itself into a full-on pub with rock and blues music thumping out the good times. Plenty of choice of drinks, including mulled wine (grzaniec) in addition to all the old favourites. Open from 10 in the morning until the last customer leaves, Albo Tak is closed on Sundays.

Very friendly studenty sort of place with lots of pretty girls!

Gdy po raz pierwszy znalazlem sie w pubie "Albo Tak", od razu powiedzialem sobie "Tak",zamawiajac piwo, zreszta niejedno. W ciekawie urzadzonym wnetrzu na pierwszym pietrze, z podwieszonymi rurami-lampami nad naszymi glowami, siedzielismy sobie ze znajomymi, swietujac kolejny zdany (lub oblany) egzamin z...ano wlasnie. Gwarno tu, zwlaszcza w roku akademickim, a i licealistek nie brak. Warto tu wpasc przed poludniem, delektujac sie po drodze (albowiem do pubu przechodzi sie przez ksiegarnie i to ezoteryczna w dodatku), roznymi ksiazkami, by za chwile delektowac sie niekoniecznie poranna kawa. Ot, i mamy cos dla ducha,i cos dla ciala.
