Piano Rouge email

Piano Rouge website

Piano Rouge is sure to become a stalwart of the casanova scene. And with the announcement that we have a new actor to play James Bond, we feel that this would be amongst his top choices if he made it to Cracow. Piano Rouge is a saucy cellar bar on the Market Square. Gold glitter sparkles on the medieval masonry, and faux baroque furniture fills every corner. The club has the feel of a sort of modern day Moulin Rouge, and there's a princely assortment of cigars, malts and other agreeable vices. Live piano music is planned and a small menu of light bites for the peckish.

Piano Rouge

Had dinner here twice during our 4 day trip. Food fantastic, decor amazing, Staff excellent and really friendly. Best Raspberry Mojitos I have ever tasted (and I have tasted a few lol) would recommend this lovely place to everyone who wants a unique night out in such opulent surroundings 10/10 x

Fantastic place, what a lovely atmosphere. I went there during Easter with my British friend and the place was so chilled out, cocktails are fantastic - specially Sex on the Piano and the live music was great too. My fave place in Krakow, one I will always come back to.

Top draw. Great decoration, great music & table service. One of the best places in Krakow for couples. Bit more expensive than other bars.

Smooth vocals turning out James Morrison, Norah Jones, even Clapton but with a velvety Polish style...and staff were gorgeous! Drinks were so pricey I had to get ratted just to enjoy it. But enjot it we certainly did and its worth at least one visit...its unique.

This place is just the best in Kraków. After a hard week at work there is nothing better than going go Rynek Głóvny walk some steps, getting downstairs feeling the atmosphere, feel the warmth of the lights, smell all those different elements that make unique this place. It never disappoints me. Even they let me in once I was wearing my converse's and sweatshirt. JUST EXCELLENT!!! not a must... THE MUST in Kraków!!!

And by the way, ambience and happiness has nothing to do with audience or money... it's just you and the place. GREAT!!!

just awful - overly camp, oppulant and decadent and very expensive - rancid

We were looking for a somewhere to eat and hear live music and found this place. But it was full.

But then they suggested that we might like to book another night so we went for the next day. If we had a meal there would be free entry to the music room.

Next night the four of us arrived and we got a great table in an alcove.

Beer was plentiful and the food was excellent and well presented, and we weren't rushed. We each had three courses

The live music started and we could hear it at our table. Even so when we had finished eating, even though the music room was full they found a table for us.

A young couple performed, he on the keyboard and she the singer, what a great voice she had. Polish and English songs.

We had great food, plenty beer and live music, a whole evening and all for less than GBP 30 each.

IGNORE ALL TH EPEOPLE WHO HAVE RATED THIS PLACE POORLY AND COMPLAINED. I HAVE BEEN HERE SO MANY TIMES I AM IN KRAKOW EVERY 2-3 WEEKS AND THIS IS TOP OF MY LIST OF BARS. SERVICE IS GREAT DRINKS R GOOD AND ITS THE PERFECT PLACE TO BRING THE WIFE AND ESCAPE THE RIFF RAFF!

I wanted to book my party of 46 in for my partners 40th Birthday and rang in advance as we wanted to reserve some tables (just for drinks). To my astonishment I was told it would cost 5000zl (£87.00)each!!!!!. I tried to find out why on earth they would charge so much to watch a jazz band (I didn't pay that much for my George Michael tickets!!). Thier marketing manager explained we would have to book a whole room (though I still couldn't justify the cost) Obviously we cancelled and I am still baffled.

From the outside it looks plain but inside it was very sleek and sophisicated. Very nicely decorated and certainly felt luxurious. This is the kind of place which would spilt opinions. If you like decor and elegant surroundings, with live music and a wide range of drinks and snacks, you will love it. On the other hand, prices can be double other places and they charge for reserving (even though this will be knocked off your bill) and cover charge is fairly high for krakow standards. Also, the band are decidely average. If you want to see a live jazz band, I would go to another venue. Overall it is worth going once for an amazing looking venue but then again, 'looks aren't everything'!

Highly recommended. It is a pricier establishment but you get what you pay for, which is live music/entertainment that's first class especially when Magda's Trio are playing their silky brand of smooth, cultured jazz. You can enjoy classic songs sung in English with Magda's sultry Polish accent adding an extra touch of class, and for Polish speakers you can just sit back and revel in the sounds of our beautiful mother tongue! The service was courteous and professional and our group was made to feel welcome. Will definitely pay a visit the next time we're/I'm in Krakow.

Prices as for Polish conditions are relatively high, but since it is a 'piano bar' you might like it.

In fact it looks fantastic, but does not work like that I think. Look what happened to me there:
1) we went there in 4 persons, we bought a bottle of wine (100+ PLN), some drinks and snacks... spent 2-3,5 hours
2) the band played live, but It was so so... the international audience (mainly) didn't show any enthusiasm, neither did we.
3) on the end the beautiful waitress tried to charge us with an additional bottle of wine that we didn’t order(!)... (and she played stupid: "oh/eh sorry" etc. -- fortunately one of us was a finance controller ;-)
4) That was not the service I have expected in place like this. I wanted to enjoy the jazz, not keeping my wallet. So unless you do not have to, I thing you'd better go to the "Stalowe magnolie" owned by the same owner but with much better climate. Where girls from the service are equally pretty).

Concerts start at 9:00 PM, you should not come much earlier.

PS: In case someone wants to sue me -- I am ready to confirm my opinions before the court. ;-)

Disappointed

Amazing - I had dinner there 2 nights and found the food, drinks and service amazing. What a great little find on the square. Highly recommend it, on the pricey side, but compared to bigger cities, a deal for the value.

I LOVED it. Yes, its a bit pricey but being inside takes you to a whole nother world. I'd love for my basement/sudo bedroom to be decorated like this place.
O, and the drinks were delicious. They better be for their price!

I stumbled across this baras from the outside it looks nothing. Once inside it is warm, sexy and definitely chic!
I have to say that, whilst there, and the main reason I stayed all day, I met the most beautiful waitress ever!! Worth going back there for her smile alone!!!! (Tall, blonde, slim if anyone knows her name???)

AMAZING PLACE, it's very romantic, great setting and the environment it's very relaxing. Friendly staff, nevertheless, the prices are relatively high compare to the rest of the places in krakow. I loved it!
