There's no logical reason that we can think of why putting a bar upstairs on the first floor should make it cool. And yet make it cool it most certainly does, as this natty little number proves. Of course there's the funky art work, superb lay-out and streetwise crowd, but they would just look out of place on the obvious and frankly boring plane of street level. Added cool factor aside, it makes a nice change to be relaxing with a beer upstairs in a town that seems to determined to do most of its drinking underground. The prodigious amount of time spent queuing for the shared-sex toilets can be either a pro or a con...depending who you meet in the line. |
