Kazimierz is the place to go if you're looking for bars with an off-beat vibe. At first glance, this one looks quite conservative by local standards. The main room has been done up with washes of terrotta paint, lending it a faintly Tuscan feel. But pretty soon you realize that this is actually one of the dottiest of them all. A bonkers looking lady in a ballgown smiles out of one painting, she is sitting on a bed next to a giant, walking bat who seems very amused by his whereabouts. The cafe's tables boast not flowers but square chunks of grass (of the non smokable type), which are presented in transparent boxes, and wrapped in dainty ribbon. As well as fine coffee you can also enjoy an array of more intoxicating drinks at this pleasantly bizarre establishment.
