Cafe Bambus

|
Cafe Bambus is located on the ground floor of the 'Pod Baranami' palace, right on the corner of the main market square. The palace was one of Cracow's grandest aristocratic salons during the nineteenth century, and coincidentally, the old family still live on the top floor, having reclaimed the building in 1991. Bambus can be found in a string of huge vaulted rooms that look out onto the main square. It's an elegant place, and couples are fond of the little windowside booths. Much of the old grandeur can still be felt, with floral moulding spiralling across the ceiling. In summer the chairs spill out onto the square, a fine place to watch the world go by. |
