Art Club Cieplarnia CLOSED

|
Once again Bracka street has come up trumps with this swish little den. A narrow corridor leads through to a charming courtyard - so small that the lucky few who can snatch a table will feel like kings when summer arrives. Inside you'll find an elegant atmosphere that would make a cosy place for romantic adventures, as well as private parties, which they will happily arrange. Cieplarnia has live jazz evenings on the weekends as well as poetry readings by seasoned Cracovian writers. The atmosphere is likely to be homely and amusing as many performers are old friends of the owner, Grzegorz Cieplinski. All this is to say nothing of the rather excellent array of snacks and drinks on offer - a Swiss accent making this a refreshing change from the norm, with fondu and plenty of Polish vodka to warm the cockles. Cieplarnia is also a winner of Cracow Life's own Best Places award - all the more reason to go! |

And the winners are...
Forget about the Oscars, these are the awards that count in Krakow, year on year.
We refer of course to the Cracow-life Best Places accolad...

A gem that remains. It's been over 4 years since I last visted Cracow, yet this superb place remains almost unchanged and untouched. The best place to chill, drink, chat or play a tune or listen to someone giving an imprompute performance. Wish it was my local.
