No, it's not a hangout for bespectacled Classics professors quoting Horace, but you will find plenty of revellers seizing the day at this dungeon lair. You often get the impression from the Poles that any day is a good day for a party, and at Carpe Diem you can throw yourselves into the spirit of things Slavic style. And if you want to try your John Travolta moves, DJs spin dance and Rock till 4 in the morning. On Mondays beers are a generous 2.90 zl, 3,50 Wednesdays, so popular with students. No explanation has been given for the ship that is sailing through the air above the bar, but this is Cracow, where eccentricity is the norm.

We were havinga great night there until one of the girls we were with had aher drink spiked and another one from our hostel got her drink spiked and woke up in a police cell the next day. police said they found her with her jeans around her ankles. so anyone going there should be really careful

Had a hilarious night here, we noticed that in Krakow they have very random music mixed in to each other. We were in Cracow for one week, and chnced upon Carpe Diem on our first night. Great party, "everything" goes, and the staff don't even raise an eyebrow. Needless to say, this was our place to party during the week. Great prices, dancing on the bar, and if you're lucky, you'll get some topless dancing as well.... Ladies, make sure someone guards the door for you in the toilet, as there is no lock, Carpe Diem! We'll be sure to come back! Marcin, I'm sending you those cd's!!!

we was in Carpe Diem II in middle of week. This club was very cool. Very good music, lower prices and happy and friendly people. We love Cracow and this place. To the world: If you should be still in Cracow you must visit the Carpe Diem II at night! And now:

most amazing place in krakow. medbar sucks, noname bar good too

went down for abit it was quite fun dont go down for a drink as you will get stared at if not local but the dance floor is a good laugh and the girls were very receptive lol

Not good, but you would find Non Iron in the neighbourhood, becouse there are Smocza G³owa - best beer in Cracow.

What's your problem with this place, Joe? Got roughed up by the locals? Never had a problem here personally - in fact it's quite a decent joint and the beer is damn cheap.
