Cafe Golebia 3 email

Golebia, with its dreamily romantic decor and casual sprinkling of slightly potty odds and ends (a golden mannekin sits nonchalantly on one shelf) is pure Cracow. It has a very loyal following who return here week in week out to have a chat over some rather tasty coffee and cakes. The fairer sex are especially fond of this little cafe and it's a very cosy place to while away an hour or so. A small garden is hidden away at the back which comes into its own in the spring and summer months, whilst internet addicts can plug in their laptops indoors. Try a Krupnik honey vodka, made according to an ancient recipe - a must before you set off on your travels, leaving fair Sarmatia behind you.

Lovely little caf this. I gather that the blue postbox outside is for poetry, and there is some kind of prize for the best verses!

great place, cosy but not overly bohemian. no posers, just laid back conversationalists, students, and laptops. best part - wifi used to be paid... and is now FREE!! perfect place to get some work done anytime during the day.

Good escape from the hubbub of the square. Very Cracovian.

It's nice it got one of the 10 best places, except I hope that won't make it overrun with tourists and completely lose its local charm!

Superb little cafe come bar that avoids the tourist crowd. One of my favourite hang outs in Kraków.

Quintessential Cracow. Laid-back, good atmosphere, good beer, good crowd.

Full of people chatting and laughing, we kept coming back. Very small and cosy and recommended for its coffee. We were cursed by a gypsy the second time we went there, but you can't blame the cafe for that!

Wow this is exactly what you expect to find when you think of bohemian café culture. Small, low tables with cloths, wooden chairs, candle light, dark walls and ‘art’ all around. The coffee’s were good to.!
