| | "this is actually two places - Music bar number 9, and the Light Box Gallery. The first is a nice open pub on the ground floor with a couple of electronic dartboards and just loads of seating basically. The music bar no 9 club downstairs is a frankly speaking awful place with a terrible soundsystem, cheesy music and very unsophisticated crowd - but not a bad place to try and pick up at least, and the light box gallery is a good looking space upstairs, although for some reason hasn't proved that popular as far i know... i tend to avoid all teh places on Szewska because they seem to attract the Polish version of the English crowd you'd find on the average Costa Brava strip." | Dr. D

| | "This place is great no matter what you're looking for. Good chilled out bar upstairs perfect for starting off the night or a few cheeky ones mid afternoon. Then head downstairs for a great night, always full of lovely local ladies and the atmosphere is fun and friendly. There are some thugs who go there as well as Polish guys traveling in packs who you may see with the same red ski jacket and amount of gel in their hair, but I have never had a problem. I spent my first year in Krakow there and have had many a memorable night. The best part is you will always find people there, any hour and any day of the week.
