Tribeca Coffee email

Why anyone would come all the way to Cracow to experience an American-style coffee shop might be a mystery for some, but understandably Tribeca is a popular hangout for young Poles enjoying the influence of the West. Generic English language posters on the wall, low-voltage downlighting, and relentless branding might not inspire fiercely independent artsy types but at least the insistence on providing full bar facilities as well as coffee (in the manner of most Cracovian cafes) puts it way above the likes of Starbucks. With its laidback atmosphere and prime location, Tribeca is a reliable spot for an afternoon piwo.

Tribeca Coffee

I loved this place!! Their hot chocolate is to die for - it's by far the best I have ever had and I would go back solely to have some more! The food is good, atmosphere great - the only thing I can complain about is the service in summer when they are extrenely busy and therefore a bit slow - but perhaps that can be expected (and definitely forgiven!)at such a busy time! In my opinion though, one of the best coffee bars/cafes i have EVER been to!

After reading some of the reviews i wonder if we have been to the same bar/resaturant. We entered the bar with a open mind and we were not disapointed. A lot to chosse from both regards to smoothies, milkshakes, coffees, drinks, light courses both for breakfast, lunch and desserts. Yes you have to pick up by the counter, but you get good value for the money.

I have been there with my sister in September 2006 and it was the worst coffee we got in all Krakow. Cannot recommend it, very bad taste of the espresso - it seems the beans weren't roasted well.

Great coffee and snacks. If you go inside in the evenings, you just order from the counter and the service is fine.

Poor service, very slow. When your coffee is ready they just shout from the counter. I was served szartlotka that was still frozen!

This is rather for the Poles dreaming of the "western" life style than for tourists discovering Krakow. As to Philip's remark about the service: yes it is crappy, but reminded me so much of all the crappy service we get in the EU. I don't think Poles have to learn that much from the EU when it comes to manners.

Very popular hangout spot for Krakow youth. Good food, cozy admosphere, intersting seating.

TriBeCa has moved to the Main Market Square, same adress as Piwnica Pod Baranami, I believe. Now there's a Coffee Heaven in Karmelicka.

If your time isn't precious, and you want to wait all day for an average coffee then feel free to visit this place on the Rynek. Loads of potential, crap service. I wouldn't bother again. A big learning curve is required here before May 04 and entry into EU. The one near bagatella is much better.

Having tried a lot of coffee places in Krakow with my Polish Girlfriend we decided that this place does the best Latte's that we came across.

Also if you can get a window seat you get a great view as well.

it's a fine place, where you can find quiet clear atmosphere to talk and to dream
