Roentgen email

Roentgen, which means X-ray, is synonymous with wild-eyed revelry, and it was long a favourite with students from Cracow's Art Academy. Indeed, learned fellows can roll on here after perusing some cutting edge art at the nearby Bunkier Sztuki. However, once inside this lively cellar bar you can get down to the more serious business of judging the calibre of the many venerable Polish beers. And don't forget the vodkas too (although both at once is only for the brave-hearted).

Roentgen

The girl who owns the club got sick of it coz she doesn't like the kind of music that was playing there + it wasn't bringing lot of cash. Now it's just another rnb/house club ;)

i ve heard that a guy overdosed and died inside the club.i cant say if this is true but it would explain why its permanently closed :/ does anyone know more ? roentgen is the best club in krk in my opinion.

Isn't it closed?

roentgen was one of the very first clubs to open in Krakow. It still has some great parties with one hardcore room and the more cheesy bar area. Some really cool laidback kids hang out here, but so do quite a lot of skinhead types - i never seen any problems however

Dear Kuul, and other readers. We welcome negative reviews on Cracow Life, however we strongly discourage bad language and reviews which are unnecessarily abusive and offensive. We will not remove well-levelled criticism, and indeed many bar managers and owners may be able to improve their businesses on the back of critical feedback. In short please keep it clean and stick to our guidelines.

It's a pity that negative reviews are removed from this site. So this site won't give you a realistic impression about the good and bad clubs.

It is the best pub in town and the waiters are very friendly. Particularly the girls ;-).

This place is weird. For a start there's the dancefloor with sofas on it, and secondly no one dances to the intense techno played on the dancefloor - everyone dances to the more user-friendly house and funk in the bar area. If you want to add a little randomness to your night out I definately recommend it. Plus you can get a Desperado (like corona but with a shot of tequila in it) behind the bar!

This place truly rocks. The music is really good (house, occasional dnb I think). Plan on stumbling out at 8 or so. Well worth the hangover!!!

I had a blast everytime I went.. It is the best place to go to after all the regular clubs have closed.. as this one stays open till about 7 in the morning. Although Jay is right, the environment is not so pleasant. But I'm still going back! :o)
