Great coffee (roasted on the premises) served up with excellent cakes, light meals and rather good sandwiches, make Cafe Rekawka a great pitstop. Its actually just over the bridge from Kazimierz in Podgorze, and it's the epicentre of the 'Podgorze Association of Good Ideas for Fellow Men' - a very noble band who are brimming with bright ideas for the area. Rekawka has certainly set a marvellous example with this superlatively cosy number. In their shop you can choose from a great selection of coffees, or even have your own special blend of roasts ground for you. They also sell some wonderful postcards. Like all self-respecting Cracow cafes, Rekawka offers beer and wine, a good range of music, and plenty of candles to light up the corners. A diamond in the rough.
