Shanti Cafe and Bar Closed

Shanti is Krakow's newest addition in the Podgorze district, offering modern Asian cuisine and sophisticated drinks in a chic, urban atmosphere. Even if you're not looking for a full meal, Shanti is a great spot to sip a glass of wine and nibble on some delicious Asian finger food. The designer decor is one of a kind in Krakow, not to mention the striking nine foot tall gold Maha Muni Buddha statue that presides over the party from behind the bar. The atmosphere is laid back during the day, but in the evening the chilled out jazz sounds switch to upbeat house tracks that keep the party going into the night.

Give us a break, previous reviewer! 5 minutes from the Square in a taxi - you must be kidding or Lewis Hamilton! The place itself is good, but if the location were more central, I would give it a 10. The best time for tourists to visit would be if you are visiting the Schindler's Factory - which is great, by the way.

Do not skip a visit to Shanti just because its a taxi ride (only 5 mins from the square ) .From the minute you walk in the door you you can tell this place is special . A real thai restaurant in Krakow .Totally relaxed atmosphere, top class food , and ridiculously reasonable . The staff and owner Shane are so friendly and professional . Make this place a " must do " on your trip . Love to all in Shanti and see you next time we are over .

Shanti, was a great find, it was a little bit out of the way but all the best places are. If this place was on the Rynek - the prices would be twice as much and the food half as nice. The Red Thai curry was perfection and the Pad Thai was the best I have had outside of Thailand.

Gowan shaney class place great food the only real thai in krakow well worth the taxi ride thai chefs ect ect too many good things to write about this place go check it out!!!!! you wont be unhappy 10/10
