Oldsmobil

This themed bar, with its automobile paraphernalia covering the walls, is squarely aimed at the hip thirtysomethings, but the staff are welcoming and the overall climate warm and friendly. An excellent range of cocktails (including, naturally, the famous 'sex in a car'!) compliments the usual beer favourites. Located on the quiet ul. Tomasza, Oldsmobil avoids the tourist scrums sometimes found at drinking holes on the Rynek, and retains a genuine Cracow charm. Popular with the locals, it is well worth parking yourself up here for a couple of hours.

I love this bar, my first stop every time i visit Krakow.

Very nice place. I would advise everyone to visit it. Good service and delicious food.

Just returned from our third trip to Krakow and our first stop was Oldsmobil to say hello. The bar staff really make you feel welcome and it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. If you have not tried their food - please do - especially the goulash soup. One word of advice. Don't venture upstairs if you are over five feet tall - really not comfortable - very low ceiling!

We had an hour to spare before heading home and discovered this bar but wish we had found it earlier as it was the only bar we visited that had a non smoking area. Be warned though, there is only one wc for the entire bar.

Oldsmobil reminds me a little of an English pub because it is on the ground floor (most Krakovian bars are in a cellar) and the people are just a strange mix of people doing not much else than having a quiet drink. Oldsmobil is not a place to come for excitement but it serves its purpose well

First bar I went into, and when I did I knew Krakow was a great place to drink in. Nothing particularly spectacular about the venue, just a nice, dark place to drink.

W "Oldsmobil" mozemy przejechac sie nie tyle po Krakowie, co po menu, najlepiej tym alkoholowym, zamawiajac na przyklad duze piwo, nie obawiajac sie prowadzenia "Oldsmobilu" po jednym...Przy okazji mozna przesledzic na zdjeciach wiszacych na scianach historie motoryzacji, stwierdzajac z zadowoleniem...ze co cztery kolka, to nie dwa. Mozemy sie o tym od razu przekonac, zamawiajac nocna taksowke po wyjsciu z pubu i to najlepiej najstarszy model Mercedesa. W koncu nazwa pubu zobowiazuje...
