W Rytmie

W Rytmie marches to the rhythm of its own drummer - or waltzes, depending on the music playing overhead - with a charm that can only be found in a small, local establishment run by the friendliest bartender in town. The tiny cafe-bar offers a variety of coffees, hot or frozen, and its own unique coffees with alcohol, as well as several types of hot chocolate, also available with liqueur mixed in. I've spent a lot of time in W Rytmie on past visits to Krakow. Unfortunately it has changed hands a Darek is no longer in charge. On a postive note the place has been refurbished (though still keeping the original furniture) and it looks a lot brighter. I think the new name is Klimaty or Klymaty. The staff are really nice too.

This small neighborhood-style pub is a great spot for a quiet drink. The owner/barman is friendly and takes pride in good service. Feels out of the way, but is right in the middle of the city with easy access to Plac Nowy, Plac Wolnica and 10 mins from Wawel.
