Ptasiek Cafe

|
Barely a day passes in the old Jewish District of Kazimierz without some new bar or cafe opening, and Ptasiek has now added its name to the long list. Unlike many of the other new ventures however, which are often shamelessly uninventive and characterless places, Ptasiek boasts bags of charisma and style. The homely ground floor cafe is the perfect place to play chess, read the newspaper or check your email via WiFi besides a roaring fire, whilst the distinctive cellar, with its racing green leather sofas and stools, hosts eclectic concerts and parties guaranteed to put Ptasiek on the nightlife map. For those who enjoy nothing more than a piwo in the sun, then be sure to check out cafe's superb beer garden during summer. |
