Miejsce Bar

Miejsce ("Place" in Polish) is a comfortable place to meet your friends for coffee or a couple of beers during the day, or even to sit alone and read if you're the studious type. Plus, their free wi-fi and relaxing music ensures that you can get some work done here as well. Later at night things get a little more lively as the number of Kazimierz cool cats stroll in. Hang around and some of their street credibility might well wear off on you as Miejsce is definitely one of the places to be right now.

Still an interesting pub with fewer pretentious individuals than previous visits (so far).

Guess what? The colour scheme has changed again!

Smoking ban is now in force in Poland but the owners of Miejsce have tried to keep pace and have installed partitioning to cater for the fag-hags. The music is still cool and the prices not too bad either. The colour scheme just keeps on changing - orange in 2008, green 2009 and now crimson!

Very gay and Brooklynish. It is probably the most inspiring bar in the entire Kazimierz area. Tout a fait parfait.

A tad self-consciously cool, but lovely decor.

Great bar with very interesting music. The staff can be brilliant at times, although some past staff have exceeded their authority. The atmosphere is well worth a visit - even if to experience the pretentiousness of some of the regulars. The retro feel clearly missed those born after 1980.

The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure your comfort.

definitely one of my favourite places out of the new bars to open in Krakow over the last couple of years. Miejsce seems to have found its own style, rather than follow the Alchemia/Singer route or just some bland 'modern' bar...

Ended up here after a work party in Kazimierz. Miejsce is definitely a cool place to go with a funky arrange of seats and tables. I think I even saw an old 50s style salon hair dryer in the corner?!? Weird, but very good too! Stick in on your list of places to go for a drink if you're heading to Krakow

i love it! this is by far my favorite place in krakow. it's cool, fresh and very positive. i wish to see places like that in states. thumbs way up!
not to mention their lemonade with parsley...
