Cynics might have claimed that Krakow didn't need another Irish Pub, but this establishment has hands down proven them wrong. From the myriad of plasma sports screens and the fantastic food menu, right down to the cheeky name (deriving from the pub's location on Embassy Street) the Mbassy has got it just right. Sports fans can enjoy a pint and an unobstructed view of the action from virtually any corner of this huge four-floored fully air-conditioned venue, whilst gastronomes can enjoy dishes like 'beef fillet with wholegrain mash potatoes soaked in port wine jus and a touch of sweet onion marmalade'. Certainly beats a greasy burger and chips! A rich programme of live music, curry nights on Thursdays and slap up Sunday roasts (for just 25PLN) as well as being open from 10am on weekends ensure there's never a dull moment at the Irish Mbassy!

One thing I did't like at all. The air conditioning was turned on the whole time and people were really freezing and putting their jackets on. Thats not the purpos of an aircon! Besides that, it was ok.

reviewed by J from Poland on Apr.28.2011

We had a great evening here yesterday watching the Man U - Schalke Champions League match. The Irish Mbassy has tons of screens, so it is easy to find a good place to watch. The staff were pleasant and fast with the service. Top marks!

Hadn't been to the Mbassy for a while, but was impressed with the place. Great to see good cider on tap, as well as Guinness! Watched the India-Australia Cricket match in the downstairs bar. Would have been a bit better if there had been sound as well, but that's a small complaint. Overall - terrific!

reviewed by Mark B from United Kingdom on Mar.25.2011

Can't say enough to commend this place. Every type of entertainment, for sports lovers to weekend alcoholics. Dave, the manager can't do enough to help you and the girls behind the bar are not only knockout in the looks department, they are also pleasant and helpful. Food is second to none and it is a place and experience I would recommend to anyone.

Nice irish bar in the centre of Krakow. A little bit pricy however the little extra is well worth it per pint for the atmosphere and the football. The grub is also worth a try as it is good value.

reviewed by adam from United Kingdom on Feb.07.2011

One of the best things about Krakow! Always had a friendly welcome here from the staff and especially good if you just want to meet up with other good folk and enjoy the sports. I visit Krakow about 3 or 4 times a year on business, and I always come here if I can.

The Irish Mbassy has got to be the number one sports bar in krakow. We booked a table for the England v USA game and it was a great call. The atmosphere was great just like being back home. The drinks and food are very well priced. The grey haired guy on the door was cool as well.

reviewed by Darren from United Kingdom on Jun.15.2010

hello , that is a great place to watch sport games. Jack , I hope that they did not charge you double as you were French and also for Henry hand ball.just kidding! That match was not great but let hope that even if they do not win games, they would go as far as possible as they did in 1998.

30 0f us hit thr last weekend great bar well able to cope with big groups good grub at fair prices we were in all the irish bars in krakow this is the best of them

reviewed by bobo from United Kingdom on Apr.16.2010

Good for watching sports, there is however a sports bar with larger screens. The food was good approx £5.50 for a burger and chips/wedges. The atmosphere was good however you are not allowed to cheer on your team a some rather large ginger man who we belived was the owner will threaten to expell you from the premises.

reviewed by edward from United Kingdom on Apr.13.2010

The Mbassy is a great place. A real mixed bag of people. The food is very good- attention to detail and if you are a sports fan this a must as it attracts all the right sort of charmers, always up for a good time. Well done Mbassy team keep up the super work.

reviewed by Dennis from Poland on Apr.09.2010

Myself and my boyfriend went in here specifically to watch the football. The atmosphere was very friendly and busy. We had some food, burger and chips and it was really good grub, plenty of it and homemade burgers for a good price. I would recommend :-)

reviewed by Rachel from United Kingdom on Apr.03.2010

had a really great friday, saturday night there last weekend. Spent a lot of money between us and really enjoyed it.
Went there on Sunday, not many there, we were trying for a sing song with some other irish, english, and scottish people. Everyone was up for a sing song but the moody barmaid was so rude, which was disappointing because we had a great two nights already, she was not on friday and saturday night thank god.
it gave us a disappointing last night. Also your door staff should put a smile on their faces. Would still go back once the moody barmaid was not on.
